Station Beach and Palm Beach as a tourist destination at risk from dogs

The natural and historical heritage values of Palm Beach have long been revered by tourists and are highlighted in the cultural importance of Station Beach, the Barrenjoey Headland and Lighthouse, and Ku-ring-gai Chase National Park. The Barrenjoey Lighthouse was built in 1881 and the associated houses beside the Lighthouse, as well as the cottages below, have historic significance.

Another Palm Beach attraction is the Palm Beach Golf Course with its unique and memorable setting, with no fence between the Golf Course and Station Beach.

Palm Beach is world-renowned as a stunningly beautiful location, attracting visitors from both Australia and overseas, film crews and locals. It is the Palm Beach Protection Group’s desire to keep the Palm Beach headland, including its pristine beaches, protected, beautiful, safe and dog free.
